Finally something on topic

Well. about time I actualy did something about games.



First off a bit about Mabinogi, though it is only a small update for that. I finished G7's little story for my human, seeing theres a rumor that G8 will be out soon and I want to be ready to jump on that as soon as possible. Also My giant character managed to finish an advancement test again. winning by only a few points. As you can see below in the link.

Also, besides Mabinogi, I played Darkest of days. It is a decently fun game about time travel and all the mental screws that come with it. However, there were a number of things that I found anoying.

First, the grass and trees. there was a lot of it in the game. it looked wonderful, really realisitc. However, you could not see two feet infront of you and al lthe enemy troops, despite not being able to see still had 100% accuracy on you.

Second, the game's AI is sad. Most of the time the enemy will huddle in a corner and wait for you to kill them. Also, when you are out in the field, sorounded by a lot of friends. they enemy, after setting their sites on you won't let go.

Last, but not least, the story. I'm not going to spoil it too much but after reaching a climating point in the story. The fruits of all your efforts are suddenly killed and the game ends on such a cliffhanger with no resolution it is not funny.

All well, can't expect a finished product out of any game these days, sequals are sadly still going to happen.

I hate Mondays... I mean Wednesdays.

Printer is kicking the bucket. Not sure how far its gone yet but it is making wierd symbols instead of normal text on anything sent to it. need to run more tests.

Forgot to log on blackboard this weekend and lost my chance at the extra credit for one of my classes, I still don't have my books for this season of classes, and my parking permit is late on arrival.

On a good side of things, DDO online becomes fully free to play today so everyone who didn't get into beta can join. I printed out my temp parking permit on my sister computer. (yay) and I fineally got new armor on Mabinogi.

In other news, I should be eating something and getting ready for class then feeling better over the fact the temp parking permit was not corrupted and I would have had to fork over more money to the school in order to just park today. Not to mention all their daily parking permit machines are broken so you have to run to the office in order to get one... and thats if they are open... which most of the time they are not.

DOOOOOOOOOM....

Nothing new to report other then there is a lack of doom on this blog.

Another day, another post. I did a stress test on my computer. Had mabinogi loaded and minimized (forgot I had it on) and I downloaded and installed section 8 open beta. and played it for about 3 hours on max settings with very little lag. Which was a suprise for me seeing I didn't expect it.

Section 8 is fun though, even though the shotgun and sniper rifles are toss.

On a side note for mabinogi, my spirit weapon is now very angry with me. must buy her more shoes so she can eat them.

Tired

Classes are set but one is still a bit iffy so i'm not fully relaxing till its good. Got everything sofar set on a monday/wednesday pattern so it leaves the rest of the week for me to find a job. I'm tired and I need some sleep.

On a side note, less then 30 days left till the next chapter of berserk gets released. Incase anyone is actualy reading this, berserk is a dark fantasy manga made by Kentaro Miura. The first volume was released back in November of 1990 and it is still contiuning to this day. He is currently on 33 volumes and still going.

Surprise!

Well. School has snuck up on me again. 2 days till it starts and I've only just set my classes in. At least this will be my last one at this college.

In other news I still don't have a goal. Don't know if I ever will get one on my own or if I'll spend the rest of my days doing what other people tell me to. It is the root of all my problems, being undecided as I am, and the moment I find out what it is that I want to focus myself onto for the rest of my life the happyer I'll be.

Seeing I have not gotten bored of this yet

I thought I might as well post something that was more in tune to what this blog was ment to be. Which is just whatever tickles my fancy. Anyhow, Something i'm really looking forward to is the Unlimited Bladeworks movie that is going to be released sometime in january... which means I won't see it till a few months after that when it gets released for DvD. Hopefully they do not mess up on it seeing Fate/Stay night is a rather good Visual novel and Unlimited Bladeworks being the story arc I enjoyed the most. Infact it is one of the best visual novels that has come out that hasn't been a simple girl chaser. Ever 17 gives it a good run for its money in my opinion and that is only due to the big plot screw they throw at you.

The first post with the first words in what will hopefully turn into something creative. There is not much to say here other then the fact that i'm starting a blog as a way to put some of my thoughts out there and to hopefully look back on and reflect at a later date. So for the most part this blog is for myself.
